I am a linguist and language professional based in Mexico City, working at the intersection of human communication and language technology. My work spans legal translation, museum exhibition texts, AI training data curation, and online language instruction — always with close attention to register, culture, and meaning.
I hold an MA in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Arizona and a BA in Spanish–English Translation and Interpretation from the Universidad del Museo Social Argentino. I have taught at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, the University of Arizona, the University of Buenos Aires, and most recently at TECH Universidad in Mexico City, where I currently work as an in-house translator adapting master's program materials using AI-assisted tools including DeepL and Trados.
Before moving into localization and AI, I spent over a decade in the classroom — teaching introductory and advanced Spanish to undergraduate students, designing curricula for Liberal Studies programs, and coordinating language programs serving 3,500+ students. That pedagogical background shapes everything I do: I think about how meaning lands, not just how it translates.
Translation & Localization — Legal documents, exhibition materials, web content, and study materials. Spanish ↔ English, with Italian as a working language. I have translated for trials, NGOs, museums, and technology companies across LATAM, the United States, and Europe.
AI & Language Quality — Data curation, annotation, transcription, and quality assurance for multilingual AI training datasets. Currently working with TELUS International across 4+ regions. I bring a linguist's precision to the evaluation of large language model outputs.
Teaching & Curriculum Design — Online Spanish and English instruction for professionals, translation students, and B.A. candidates. I design my own materials and adapt them to each learner's context, pace, and goals.
MA in Hispanic Linguistics — University of Arizona, 2019. Coursework in Teaching Methodology, Sociolinguistics, and Translation Studies. Graduated as Outstanding GA, Spring 2019.
BA in Spanish–English Translation and Interpretation — Universidad del Museo Social Argentino, 2007. Coursework in Technical Translation, International Law, French, and International Affairs.
